The land is dominated by the Flow Country and is generally gently sloping with only two ‘mountainous’ areas, the Ben Griams near Kinbrace and the Morven / Scaraben Massif in the South East corner of Caithness. Much of the land is designated and the group contains the largest part of the Flow Country.
